State Senator Kevin Bacon  (R-Minerva Park) today announced that German automotive supplier Hirschvogel Incorporated plans to create 37 new full-time jobs in Columbus.
The Ohio Tax Credit Authority recently offered a 45 percent, six-year tax credit to enable the Columbus company to expand its operations. The creation of 37 new jobs and retention of 322 existing jobs will generate $1.3 million in additional annual payroll and $14.4 million in existing payroll.
“Business is rebounding in central Ohio, and this expansion is another step toward greater opportunity for individuals and families of my district,” said Bacon. “We work hard to cut red tape and encourage new investment in order to improve the quality of life in our community.”
Hirschvogel Incorporated is a global automotive supplier of steel, aluminum forging and machining.
