Columbus -
The State Controlling Board today approved $70,000 to NVR in the City of Dayton. This latest approval of assistance is expected to play a role in the creation of 75 new, full-time jobs. In recent months, NVR has been further cementing their roots in Southwest Ohio with new plans for machinery and equipment acquisition and by committing to a fixed asset investment of at $3.75 million. "Projects like this are vital to Ohio's economic rebound as displayed through the most recent unemployment numbers," Beagle said. "Clear, common sense proposals centered on jobs is what our region needs. I wish NVR the best in their continued efforts." In 2010, NVR was approved for a 40 percent, five-year Ohio Job Creation Tax Credit through the Ohio Tax Credit Authority.
