Senator Beagle presents a resolution to Emma Moore on the floor of the Ohio Senate honoring her for being named 2015 Pure American National Junior Miss
COLUMBUS -

State Senator Bill Beagle (R-Tipp City) today presented a resolution to Emma Moore, of Tipp City, for recently being named the 2015 Pure American National Junior Miss.

Moore, 11, has been competing in pageants since 2012 and hopes to use her role as a platform for raising awareness for anti-bullying efforts.

"Even at such a young age, Emma has demonstrated a passion for servant leadership by championing anti-bullying initiatives," said Beagle. "We are proud of the example she is setting for Ohio's young people and anticipate further achievement from her in the future."

According to Tiara Magazine, which featured Moore in a publication earlier this year, she is also the 2015 Regional Star Jewel Sapphire Queen. Other notable pageant achievements include National American Miss Pageant Jr. Pre Teen, Pure American Junior Miss Ohio State, StarJewel Patriotic Queen, National Star Jewel Mini Supreme Little Miss and Pure American Ohio Junior Ultimate.

Moore was also recognized in the House of Representatives, where she received praises from State Representative Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City).
