Senator Beagle presents a resolution to members of the Troy High School Girls Cross Country team at the Ohio Statehouse.
COLUMBUS - State Senator Bill Beagle (R-Tipp City) today recognized the Troy High School Girls Cross Country team on their second place finish at the 2016 Division I state championship. 

"This accomplishment reflects an outstanding collective effort by a gifted group of student-athletes," said Beagle. "I am pleased to recognize the countless hours of training and dedication that led these young ladies to this outstanding achievement."

The team earned 49 points, runner-up to the Beavercreek High School team which earned 64 points for the title victory.
