During opening day ceremonies today for the 129th General Assembly, Frank LaRose (R- Akron) was officially sworn in as the State Senator for the 27th Ohio Senate District, which encompasses portions of Summit County. A decorated Army veteran, Frank now brings his real-world experience, energy and passion to the Ohio General Assembly, where he will work to ensure that Ohio lives within its means and spends its money wisely without placing additional burdens on businesses and working families. "I would like to thank the people of the 27th Senate District for giving me the opportunity to serve them in the Ohio Senate," LaRose said. "I look forward to being their voice as my colleagues and I work to revitalize our state and communities with a strong economy, safe and effective schools and plentiful job opportunities."
