State Senator Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) today issued the following statement regarding the announcement that the Ford Motor Company will invest $200 million to upgrade its assembly plant in Avon Lake, protecting 150 jobs involved with its chassis production:

"The Lorain County community expresses its gratitude to the Ford Motor Company for its continued investment and acknowledgment of the immense value that our workers provide its operation in Avon Lake.
