COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Wilson (R-Maineville) today honored the Springboro High School Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps on winning both the 33rd Annual Air Force JROTC Drill Meet State Championship and the National High School Drill Team Championship Competition. 

"It is a great pleasure to recognize the Springboro High School Air Force Junior ROTC Panther Drill Team as national champions,” said Senator Wilson. “The team’s dedication and hard work has surely paid off in a tremendous way and I am proud to represent such a fine group of young Ohioans.”

The team competed in Daytona Beach against 27 other teams from high schools across the nation. They finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the three judged categories, collectively earning them the overall championship title.
