Johnson Celebrates Kiwanis Club of Portsmouth on its 100th Anniversary Celebration

COLUMBUS—State Senator Terry Johnson (R-McDermott) last weekend attended the 100th anniversary celebration of the Kiwanis Club of Portsmouth and presented them with a resolution honoring the club for their century of service to the community.

"The Kiwanis Club of Portsmouth has been a blessing to the children of Portsmouth and truly embodies servant leadership," Johnson said. "Thank you for your exemplary service and I look forward to watching this storied organization continue to do great things in our community."

The Kiwanis Club is an international organization focused on improving and impacting the lives of children. Members stage approximately 150,000 service projects and raise nearly $100 million every year for communities, families and projects.
