Larry Obhof proudly represents the people of the 22nd Senate District, which includes Medina, Ashland and Richland counties, as well as portions of Holmes County. He serves as the Majority Whip of the Ohio Senate.
“The Mansfield Lahm Aiport's is located within a two hour flight time of 60 percent of the U.S. population, making it an important asset for both Ohio and the nation," said Obhof. "Adequately maintaining this major transportation hub is critical to the longterm success of our region."
“Medina’s airport plays an important role in local economic development efforts by providing transportation services for local businesses and improving the community’s overall accessibility,” said Obhof. “These funds will provide significant infrastructure improvements and help ensure the airport's continued vitality.”
“The Ohio Senate has made job creation a top priority and continues to take steps to improve the business climate by cutting taxes and implementing regulatory reform," said Obhof. "While this is good news, many Ohioans are still looking for work, and it is important that we continue to push pro-growth policies, such as increased job training to help move our workforce forward."
