Today, state Senator Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo) issued the following statement condemning Senate Bill 123, the so-called "trigger ban" legislation that would automatically outlaw all abortions in Ohio if the U.S. Supreme Court were to overturn Roe v. Wade. The bill, which had its first hearing in the Senate Health Committee today, does not contain any exceptions for rape or incest.

Today, state Senator Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo) announced that starting this Friday, October 1, Ohioans who have been victims of unemployment account takeovers - which happens when a criminal gains access to a legitimate claimant's account and reroutes the payments from the intended recipient - can start the process for having their payments reimbursed.
