Today, state Senator Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo) commended the Toledo Public Schools' decision to join a lawsuit, filed by the Ohio Coalition for Equity and Adequacy of School Funding and Vouchers Hurt Ohio, which challenges the expansion of Ohio's school voucher program. Toledo now joins more than 100 other Ohio school districts in declaring their opposition to the state's school voucher program.

Jackson Women's Health Organization to remove the federal constitutional right to abortion and give the power to restrict or ban abortion to states. The ruling overturns a half-century of Supreme Court precedent established by Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

Today, state Senator Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo) announced that the Ohio Department of Aging is accepting nominations for outstanding older adults to be inducted into the Ohio Senior Citizens Hall of Fame. Since 1976, the hall has honored current or long-time Ohio senior citizens who have made a lasting impact on their communities, professions, or vocations.

Wade, remove the federal constitutional right to abortion and give the power to restrict or ban abortion to each state. The Court's decision will not be considered final until it is published in the coming months.

Today, state Senator Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo), a member of the Unemployment Compensation Modernization and Improvement Council, urged Governor Mike DeWine to address compounding problems resulting from Ohio's antiquated unemployment system. This comes in response to a March 29 letter she sent to DeWine to call attention to these issues and urge him to improve Ohio's social safety net.
