LANDIS CELEBRATES LOCAL OLYMPIAN HUNTER ARMSTRONG

COLUMBUS—State Senator Al Landis (R-Dover) recognized Hunter Armstrong for his accomplishments representing the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
 
“Tuscarawas County is immensely proud of Hunter’s achievements,” said Senator Landis. “He is an exceptional athlete, and his gold and silver medals are an inspiration to the next generation of athletes in Dover, our state, and our nation. I’m honored to celebrate his achievements and look forward to celebrating even more of his accomplishments in the future.”
 
A 2019 graduate of Dover High School and a former swimmer for The Ohio State University, Armstrong won a gold medal in the 4x100m Freestyle Relay and a silver medal in the 4x100m Medley Relay at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. He also placed 9th in the 100m backstroke at the Summer games.
