Landis Honored For Supporting Economic Development

COLUMBUS—State Senator Al Landis (R-Dover) received the 2025 Ally of Economic Development Award from the Ohio chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) today for his work on legislation that has bolstered Ohio’s economic development.
“I’m grateful to have received this award from the NAIOP,” said Landis. “Ohio’s economic future is bright and I am glad to have played a role in crafting legislation to ensure that we are in the best possible position to support and grow our economy.”
Senator Landis co-sponsored Senate Bill 94 in the 135th General Assembly alongside Senator Andrew Brenner (R-Delaware) which, in-part, made improvements to lien law to streamline real estate transactions and allow real estate cases to be completed more swiftly so that distressed real estate assets can be sold and put back to productive use for the benefit of Ohio’s economy.
The NAIOP of Ohio represents and assists over 500 businesses in a variety of industries across the state to attract talent, jobs and further economic activity to support and enhance Ohio’s economy and quality of life.
