Landis Honors Waynedale Baseball Champions

COLUMBUS—State Senator Al Landis (R-Dover) honored the Waynedale High School baseball team before the Ohio Senate for winning the 2025 OHSAA Division V State Championship.

“I am so proud to recognize this remarkable group of student-athletes in front of the Ohio Senate,” said Senator Landis. “Their track record of hard work and commitment has resulted in a tremendous accomplishment and something the whole community can be proud of. I look forward to watching their continued success both on and off the field."

The Golden Bears defeated the Graham Local Falcons in the championship game by a score of 3-0. This is the team's third state title in four years. They were led throughout their season by head coach Lucas Daugherty.
