Senator Landis Celebrates Dover Economic Development Project

COLUMBUS—State Senator Al Landis (R-Dover) is proud to see the creation of over 400 new jobs as a result of ProVia Payroll's new project in Dover. This comes as a result of the Ohio Tax Credit Authority's approval of tax credits for the project.

"New jobs means new opportunities for the people of the 31st Senate District,” said Senator Landis. "ProVia's investment is a recognition that the future of Tuscarawas County and the state of Ohio is bright. I look forward to seeing the completion of this project and the positive effect it will have on the region."

ProVia Payroll LLC expects to create 400 full-time-equivalent positions, generating $27 million in new annual payroll by Dec. 31, 2030, as a result of the company’s project in the city of Dover. ProVia is a manufacturer of exterior building materials focused on the residential market, including high-quality entry door systems, energy-efficient windows, super polymer vinyl siding, artfully-crafted manufactured stone, and stamp steel roofing. The proposed project entails the acquisition of a LEED-certified building for new production of high-quality custom replacement windows. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 1.796 percent, 10-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the project.
