Senator Landis Celebrates Wooster Christian Basketball National Champions

COLUMBUS—State Senator Al Landis (R-Dover) honored the Wooster Christian High School Boys Basketball Team in the Ohio Senate for winning the National Christian School Athletic Association Division 5C Championship. 

“I'm so proud of this group of student-athletes,” said Senator Landis. “This team has brought an incredible athletic accomplishment to Wayne County. I look forward to watching their continued success both on and off the court."

The Eagles' 47-43 victory over Michigan's Barry County Christian gave Wooster Christian their first national basketball title in school history. The team was led in their championship winning season by head coach Nick Hinkle.
