Senator Landis Honors Strasburg Girls Basketball Champions

COLUMBUS—State Senator Al Landis (R-Dover) recognized the Strasburg-Franklin High School Girls Basketball Team in the Ohio Senate for winning the OHSAA Division VII State Championship.
“This is an amazing group of student-athletes,” said Senator Landis. “The hard work, dedication, and talent of this group allowed them to make a remarkable achievement. I'm proud to celebrate this team before the Ohio Senate and I look forward to watching their continued success both on and off the court."
The Tigers victory over the Russia Raiders capped a 25-5 season and gave Strasburg-Franklin their first OHSAA girls basketball state title in school history. The team was led in their championship winning season by head coach Tyler Bates.
