COLUMBUS - State Senator George Lang (R-West Chester) today announced the approval of over $50,000 for several projects across the 4th Senate District by the state's Controlling Board.
“Investments in education and public safety are critical for the growth of Ohio’s business climate as businesses look to locate in areas with access to a well-equipped workforce and safe neighborhoods," Lang said.
Projects approved for funding today include:
- $25,000 for Miami University for improvements to the Regional Book Depository Improvements project in Middletown
- $25,496.69 to the Butler County Sheriff's Office as part of the Marine Patrol Assistance Grant program
Funds were secured through the state capital appropriations legislation, passed as part of the state operating budget that was signed into law in June of 2021, during the 134th General Assembly. More information can be found on the Controlling Board website.
