COLUMBUS— State Senator George Lang (R- West Chester) reminded Ohio high school students of the statewide scholarship program recognizing students for contributions to innovation and entrepreneurship in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

"Our students over the last few years have been challenged in unbelievable ways and are deserving of as much support and recognition as we can give them," Lang said. "I strongly encourage as many students as possible from my district to apply for this scholarship and ensure that your hard work is recognized."

Ohio high school students who are juniors or seniors during the 2021-2022 school year, and who meet the qualifications noted on the scholarship application, are invited to apply for a $1,000 Believe in Ohio STEM Scholarship. Forty-six students were awarded a total of $46,000 in scholarships during the 2020-2021 school year.
