Lang Sworn into 135th General Assembly
COLUMBUS - State Senator George Lang (R-West Chester) was sworn in today as a member of the Ohio Senate in the 135th General Assembly. He represents the 4th Senate District, which includes the majority of Butler county.
"I am excited to continue the work we started over the last two years of creating jobs, lifting regulations on small businesses, and growing our state economy," Lang said. “I look forward to working with my colleagues to continue Ohio down the path of becoming the most business-friendly state in America.”
Prior to being elected to the Senate, Lang served two terms in the Ohio House of Representatives. In his first two years as a Senator, Lang championed several bills, including promoting business growth, protecting consumers, and improving resources for adoptive families. Lang is also a founding member and current co-chair of the Business First Caucus, the legislature's largest bi-partisan and bicameral caucus.
