Craig Applauds Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's Historic Confirmation to U.S. Supreme Court

Today, state Senator Hearcel F. Craig (D-Columbus) issued the following statement after Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson was confirmed to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court, making her the first Black woman to ever serve as a U.S. Supreme Court Justice. “Judge Ketanji Brown Jackon’s historic confirmation as the first Black woman to serve as a U.S. Supreme Court Justice is a pivotal, long-overdue moment for our country. Her seat on the bench will go a long way toward ensuring that our highest court is reflective of the people it serves. Judge Jackson has already had an impressive legal career, and I know she will have an indelible impact during her time on the Supreme Court.”
