Governor Signs Two Roegner Bills into Law
COLUMBUS—Governor Mike DeWine has signed into law Senate Bill 208 and Senate Bill 211, both sponsored by State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson).
"I am grateful to see both of these important pieces of legislation signed into law," said Roegner.
Senate Bill 208 requires Ohio public school districts to create an exception in their open enrollment policies for students whose parent(s) are active duty U.S. military and Senate Bill 211 enters Ohio into the Dietitian Licensure Compact.
"Both of these bills remove burdensome regulations that help our state keep moving forward," said the senator. "Senate Bill 208 is one small way to show our gratitude to service men and women for their dedication to our country and SB 211 creates pathways for employment and improves access to nutrition services."
