Roegner Issues Statement Regarding Senator Steve Huffman

"I've served with Senator Steve Huffman for four years in the Ohio House and almost a year and a half in the Ohio Senate. During that time Senator Huffman has proven himself to be a thoughtful and caring individual. As a practicing doctor of medicine on the Senate Health Committee, he provides valuable insight and asks questions often through the lens of a physician trying to solve a health issue. Steve has apologized for his choice of words as he phrased a particular question. People should respect his apology and move on - to not do so is to fan the flames of discord. We need to remember that forgiveness is essential to healing as we move forward together as one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
