Roegner Named Chair of Senate Ways & Means Committee

COLUMBUS—Ohio Senate President Larry Obhof (R–Medina) today appointed State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) as Chair of the Senate Standing Committee on Ways and Means. The Ways and Means Committee reviews legislation affecting tax policy at the state and local levels.
“I want to thank President Obhof for having the confidence in me to appoint me to this position. I will work hard as the chair of the Ways and Means Committee to ensure that Ohio’s taxes are low, fair, and simple," said Roegner.
In addition to the Ways and Means Committee, Senator Roegner also serves on the Senate Committees on Government Oversight and Reform; Health, Human Services & Medicaid; Transportation, Commerce and Workforce, as well as the Finance-Health & Medicaid Subcommittee.
