COLUMBUS—State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) today released the following statement regarding the Senate's concurrence vote on Senate Bill 22:

“Over the last 12 months, we have witnessed unprecedented government overreach. Orders issued by the executive branch shut small businesses, shuttered polling locations, sent students and workers home, established curfews, mandated facial coverings and more, all without input from the legislature, thus all without the voice of the people. Senate Bill 22 is about restoring that voice, restoring the balance of power, and restoring our liberties. I believe the amendments added by the Ohio House strengthen the bill, and I strongly support its passage.”
