COLUMBUS—State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson) is reminding residents of the 27th Senate District of the upcoming back-to-school sales tax holiday, August 6-8.
"With rising costs and inflation burdening families on everything from groceries to school supplies, the sales tax holiday is an opportunity for Ohioans to save on the essential items their kids need as they head back to the classroom," said Roegner. "I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity this weekend, ensuring our students have the resources they need to be successful this year."
In the 132nd General Assembly, Roegner co-sponsored Senate Bill 226, which created a permanent three-day sales tax "holiday" each August, during which sales of clothing and school supplies are exempt from sales and use tax.
