Roegner Sworn In as a Member of the Ohio Senate

COLUMBUS—On Monday, the Honorable Judith L. French, Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court administered the oath of office for State Senator Kristina Roegner (R-Hudson), marking the beginning of her first four-year term in the Ohio Senate. Opening ceremonies also served as the official start of the 133rd Ohio General Assembly.
"I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the constituents of the 27th District, and I look forward to continuing the work to move our great state forward," said Roegner.
Prior to her election to the Ohio Senate, Senator Roegner served eight years in the House of Representatives. As State Representative, Roegner successfully championed legislation aimed at reducing government regulation to promote economic growth, workforce development efforts and improvements to our state's education system.
Prior to her time in public office, she worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, serving global clients on performance and strategic issues. She also was a field engineer and project manager for Westinghouse Power Generation Service Division, where she was responsible for leading teams to overhaul large turbines and generators at power plants across the country.
Roegner and her husband, Eric, have three daughters and live in Hudson.
