COLUMBUS—State Senator Mark Romanchuk (R-Ontario) today encouraged owners of restaurants, bars and other food and drink establishments to apply for the Food and Beverage Establishment Grant, which will provide grants of $10,000, $20,000, or $30,000 to eligible businesses in the food service industry.
"Our food industry was one of the hardest hit during the COVID-19 pandemic, yet were some of the most adaptive and accommodating in keeping their employees and customers safe and healthy," Romanchuk said. "I encourage every eligible business to apply for these grants."
Beginning June 29, 2021, businesses can submit an application at BusinessHelp.ohio.gov. Each Ohio business location that meets the criteria and submits a complete application will be eligible for a grant, if funds are available. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first served basis.
