Kunze Announces Water Quality Improvement Project Grant Opportunity

COLUMBUS—State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Dublin) urges eligible entities to apply for $2.7 million in water quality project grants from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. The deadline for applications is November 9. 

"This program is a critical resource for our local communities and the rivers and streams that they work so hard to protect and preserve," said Kunze. "The dollars can be applied in a variety of ways, such as field drainage water management and stream restoration. I urge organizations in my district to apply for this opportunity."

Local governments, park districts, soil and water conservation districts, and other public organizations can apply for these grant dollars. Funding for the grant program is available through the federal Clean Water Act.
