COLUMBUS—State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Hilliard) is celebrating a recently announced economic development project coming to Grove City, Ohio early next year.
American Nitrile, a newly launched Columbus, Ohio-based company, announced plans to build the most advanced U.S. manufacturing facility dedicated to producing nitrile gloves for healthcare, government and industrial use.
Production at the 527,000-square-foot industrial facility in Grove City is expected to create 400 new jobs. “This project will bring new jobs and help spur additional economic development in the area,” Kunze said. “I applaud American Nitrile for choosing to expand their operations in Ohio and invest in the amazing, hard-working people of our state.” In addition to the significant impact of these new job opportunities in the central Ohio area, American Nitrile also represents a key strategic victory for Ohio as we continue to work to foster a robust PPE supply chain within our state.
