COLUMBUS—State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Hilliard) joined community leaders on Monday for Upper Arlington's State of the City program to honor longtime public servant Cathe Armstrong on her retirement as the city's Finance Director.

“Our local communities are fortunate to have dedicated public servants like Cathe who provide essential services for their residents on a daily basis,” said Kunze. “Cathe’s astute leadership and service helped Upper Arlington in earning a AAA credit rating for nine consecutive years. Her office has been recognized for its excellence in financial reporting every year since 1994.”

Armstrong has worked for Upper Arlington for the past three decades, including 21 years of service as the city's finance director.

“I want to thank Cathe for her service and extend my best wishes for her as she enters a well-deserved, relaxing retirement," added Kunze.
