Kunze Honors State Swim Champ Emily Brown

COLUMBUS—State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Dublin) recognized Emily Brown in the Ohio Senate today. A senior at Dublin Coffman High School, Emily won the Division I State championships in the 200-yard individual medley (IM) and the 100-yard butterfly. 

"It has been a privilege to honor Emily on the Senate Floor over the last few years," said Kunze. "She demonstrates dedication to her sport, school, and community, and I look forward to all that she will accomplish athletically and academically in the future." 

These titles make Brown an eight-time individual state champion. She set the state record in both the 200 IM (1:57.27) and the 100 fly (52.69). Emily has committed to continue her swimming career at the University of Tennessee this upcoming fall.
