Kunze Issues Statement on State of the State Address

COLUMBUS—State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Dublin) today released the following statement regarding Governor Mike DeWine's State of the State address. 

“I am grateful for the continued investment in Ohio's families and the announcement of the Childcare Choice Voucher Program," said Kunze. "In Ohio, the average cost of child care for a family with two children is over $22,600. This cost forces working families to face the difficult decision of whether they should go to work or stay at home with their children. With this program, working families between 146-200% of the federal poverty level may be eligible for this program. The goal is to relieve families of some of these burdensome costs so they do not have to choose between work and childcare. We must continue to work to make Ohio the best place to live, work, and raise a family."
