Kunze Recognized as 2023 Champion for Children

DUBLIN—State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Dublin) received the 2023 Champion for Children award by the Ohio Head Start Association for her work on legislation that supports Ohio’s children and families.
 
Kunze has tirelessly advocated for Ohio’s youngest population throughout her time in the legislature. She continues to work on combating Infant Mortality, streamlining state programs that serve all of Ohio’s children, and promoting early childhood literacy.
 
“I am grateful for the work that Ohio Head Start does every day for our young Ohioans,” said Kunze. “Ohio will be led by the bright minds of our future generations and each of them deserve the opportunity to live up to their God-given potential.”
 
The Ohio Head Start Association is a child-centered, family-focused, comprehensive and community-based organization. They provide comprehensive education, health, nutrition, dental, mental health, social services and parent engagement opportunities to low-income, special needs and at-risk children and their families.
