Kunze Recognizes 2019 Division I Wrestling State Champion

COLUMBUS—State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Hilliard) yesterday recognized Seth Shumate of Dublin Coffman High School as the 2019 Division I State Wrestling Champion in the 195-pound weight class.
"Winning the state title as a freshman is an impressive feat, and I am proud to recognize Seth for his hard work and determination. I look forward to following his continued success in the years to come," said Kunze.
Seth finished the state tournament with a 4-0 record, closing out his season with a near perfect record of 50-1. During the season, he also helped lead the Dublin Coffman team to its first district championship in 18 years.
