Kunze Recognizes Division I State Field Hockey Champions

COLUMBUS—State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Dublin) today recognized the Thomas Worthington Women's Field Hockey Team as the 2023 Divison I State Field Hockey Champions. 

"These young women are truly exceptional student-athletes. I am excited to have had the opportunity to recognize them on the Senate Floor for the second year in a row," said Kunze. "I look forward to seeing what this team will accomplish in the years to come." 

The Cardinals fought hard to secure the hardware, coming back to win the state title in sudden-death overtime. The 2023 state championship brings the Thomas Worthington Field Hockey team their eighth state title and seventh under Coach Terri Simonneti Frost.
