COLUMBUS—The Ohio Senate passed Senate Bill 179, sponsored by State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Dublin), which creates the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats license plate.

"This legislation is the result of direct outreach to my office from the Hilliard Davidson Baseball Club, a non-profit booster group that supports the Hilliard Davidson Baseball Program," said Kunze. "I am confident that the funds from this license plate will support personal growth for student-athletes both on and off the field."

When purchased, the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats license plate allocates $30 to the Hilliard Davidson Baseball Club and $10 for the processing fees at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. This provides the club with a great fundraising opportunity that will help the organization continue with its support of the school district and baseball program.

SB 179 passed unanimously out of Transportation Committee and the Senate floor and now heads to the Ohio House of Representatives for consideration.
