Ohio Senate Passes Kunze's Bill Creating Dublin City Schools License Plate
COLUMBUS—The Ohio Senate passed Senate Bill 163, sponsored by State Senator Stephanie Kunze (R-Dublin), which creates the Dublin City Schools license plate.
This legislation is the result of outreach to Kunze's office from Dublin students who were interested in creating a license plate for the Dublin City School District. Contributions from the purchase of the license plate will go to the Dublin Food Pantry.
"I met with the group of students to discuss their vision for the plate and to explain the process to create a new license plate at the state level," said Kunze. "These students showed that they are passionate, determined, and thoughtful about their 'why' and I am grateful to them for their passion for helping others in their community."
When purchased, the Dublin City Schools License Plate allocates $25 to the Dublin Food Pantry and $10 for the processing fees at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
SB 163 passed unanimously out of Transportation Committee and the Senate floor and now heads to the Ohio House of Representatives for consideration.
