Huffman Announces Funds for Miami County Recreation Project

COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) announced the Ohio Department of Natural Resources NatureWorks program will award over $50,062 for Tipp City to extend the paved trail at Windmere Park. 

"These funds will significantly help Tipp City complete a project that many residents have expressed interest in," said Huffman. "I look forward to seeing community members enjoy this addition to our community." 

NaureWorks projects are funded through the Ohio Parks and Natural Resources Bond Issue which was approved by Ohio voters in 1993. The grant dollars provide up to 75% of reimbursement assistance to local government subdivisions.
