COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) visited the White House to discuss state and federal policies as a part of the White House State Leadership Conference.

"I am honored to visit the White House and participate in this conference," said Senator Huffman. "It was a valuable experience to hear from Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick on ways Ohio can provide assistance on federal policy. I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to applying these ideas in Ohio."

The White House hosts various leadership conferences for state and local officials to foster collaboration and discuss policy priorities. These conferences, organized through the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs in partnership with organizations like the National Association of Counties (NACo), bring together leaders from different levels of government to address key administration priorities and interagency coordination.
