Huffman Recognizes Jianna Nichols for Invention Awards at Ohio Statehouse

COLUMBUS - State Senator Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) this week recognized Jianna Nichols, a junior at Tippecanoe High School for winning multiple awards at the 2021 Ohio, U.S. National and Global Invention conventions.
"Jianna's diligent work ethic, paired with her love for solving problems and the design and invention process, has led her to be one of the best up and coming inventors in the world. I am sure she has a bright future ahead of her." Huffman said.
Jianna was one of only 185 students selected to present their invention at the Global competition, and earned 2nd place in the 9th and 10th grade categories. Jianna plans to study engineering, medicine and industrial design, and will to continue to invent with a focus on solving healthcare and medical problems.
