COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) today applauded the Governor's signing of Senate Bill 108, his bill which provides an additional $125 million of federal pandemic relief to bars, restaurants and lodging businesses across Ohio.
“The service industry was particularly impacted, and in many ways crippled, by the safety measures taken to combat the coronavirus pandemic,” said Huffman. “Now, as local bars and restaurants recover from the pandemic, these dollars are needed more than ever to help them get back on their feet so they can continue providing their essential services to our community and families.”
To date, more than $2.5 billion in funding has been approved by the General Assembly to be distributed to Ohio’s communities and schools as they emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
