COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) attended the grand opening of Ohio's first Buc-ee's gas station in Huber Heights. Senator Huffman participated in the grand opening celebration alongside numerous community leaders, Buc-ee's founder Arch "Beaver" Aplin III, as well as Governor Mike DeWine and First Lady Fran DeWine.

"I'm very excited to welcome Buc-ee's to the Buckeye State," said Senator Huffman. "This is a tremendous investment for the Dayton area, specifically for the City of Huber Heights. Buc-ee's newest location will increase tourism, economic growth, and add new job opportunities to the region."

Buc-ee's is a chain of travel centers known for their large amount of gas pumps, tasty food offerings, car washes, and more. The company began in 1982 in Texas and has since spread across the country. Ohio's first location is at 8000 Ohio 235, just north of the Interstate 70 and State Route 235 interchange.
