Senator Huffman Celebrates Ohio as Top State for Business

COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) applauds CNBC's recent study naming Ohio as the Top State for Business in the nation.

"Ohio's support for businesses continues to bring in economic competition and increases our quality of life," said Senator Huffman. "The people of the 5th Senate District are seeing the benefits firsthand with the growth of Joby Aviation and the Sierra Nevada Corporation in the region. I look forward to continue supporting policies and investments that will maintain Ohio's lead as an force for business in the nation."

Since 2007, CNBC has scored all 50 states on 138 metrics in 10 broad categories of competitiveness. The study focuses on identifying the factors companies consider when making site selection decisions, and where states are focusing their economic development efforts to win jobs and business. In addition to being ranked the number one overall state, Ohio also ranked first in infrastructure and first in the cost of doing business.
