Senator Steve Huffman Supports Ohio Department of Medicaid's Announcement of New Managed Care Partners

COLUMBUS—State Senator Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) today announced his support for the Ohio Department of Medicaid's (ODM) selection of six health care organizations to lead the department’s evolution of managed care services. Among the organizations chosen to further the Ohio Medicaid Managed Care program is CareSource Ohio Inc., located in Dayton, Ohio.
According to a release from ODM, 'the selection comes after more than two years of intensive stakeholder engagement to define opportunities to strengthen the structure of Ohio’s $20 billion managed care program.'
"These selections will ultimately help strengthen our state's Medicaid program by providing more patient-focused plans, providing more immediate solutions to healthcare needs," said Senator Steve Huffman. "I am thrilled to see CareSource be chosen as a partner, they are a strong advocate for the families in the Miami Valley and have a strong focus and commitment to the health and well-being of individuals."
