Gavarone Recognizes Ability Center of Greater Toledo for 100 Years of Service

COLUMBUS—State Senator Theresa Gavarone (R-Bowling Green) and Teresa Fedor (D-Toledo) today honored the Ability Center of Greater Toledo on its 100th year of service for people with disabilities in Northwest Ohio.
“I want to congratulate the Ability Center of Greater Toledo for their 100 years of service, and commend their constant dedication and support of the disabled community,” Gavarone said.
The Ability Center began in the 1920’s as a means to raise funds to build a hospital and rehabilitation facility for children with polio. For more information about The Ability Center, click here.
