COLUMBUS—State Senator Theresa Gavarone (R-Bowling Green) this week recognized student athletes and coaches from the Bowling Green State University (BGSU) women's volleyball team, women's soccer team and men's soccer team as the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Champions. Gavarone also recognized the BGSU women's basketball coach on being named the MAC Coach of the Year.
“This is truly an incredible accomplishment, and all of these student athletes and coaches should be extremely proud of themselves," said Gavarone. "The BGSU athletic program has a history of excellence and these champions have made us all proud, both off the field and court and most certainly on."
