COLUMBUS — State Senator Thomas Patton (R-Strongsville) announces an investment made by the Ohio Department of Development in Cuyahoga County.

"I am happy to welcome Webb Chemical to my hometown of Strongsville," said Senator Patton. "This tax credit will bring 25 new jobs and inject millions into our region's economy. I'm proud to see our state continue to make it easy to build a business right here in northeast Ohio."

During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) granted tax credits to five projects across Ohio, one of which is in the 24th Senate District. This project is:  Webb Chemical Service Corporation, a nationwide chemical distributor, which expects to create 25 full-time-equivalent positions, generating $2 million in new annual payroll as a result of the company’s project in the city of Strongsville. The proposed project involves Webb Chemical purchasing a vacant building and opening operations in Strongsville. The TCA approved a 1.249 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the project.
