Senator Patton Honors U.S. Marshals in Ohio

COLUMBUS—State Senator Tom Patton (R-Strongsville) honored the U.S. Marshals Service's Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force on its 60,000th arrest.
"The U.S. Marshals Service plays an indispensable role in combatting crime across Ohio," said Senator Patton. "The courage and commitment of these men and women in apprehending those with some of the most violent records is a testament to their service. I'm proud to recognize this remarkable group of officers and thank them for keeping our state safe."
The Northern Ohio Task Force was created by the U.S. Marshals Service in 2003. It is designed to be a collaborative law enforcement effort between federal, state, and local agencies to pursue, apprehend, and prosecute adult violent fugitives across the northern district of Ohio.
