Discriminatory Redistricting Campaign Excludes Potentially Millions of Ohioans From Process
“The Political Outcomes Over People,” campaign as we like to call it, just keeps getting worse.
The deeper you dive into the 13,000 word amendment, the more it becomes clear the dark money funded campaign is more than a political power grab, it establishes an untouchable 4th branch of government that is insulated by its deep state overlords. Rest assured, it is accountable to no one, including every day Ohioans.
Yet, if you bother to waste time reading any editorial from today’s legacy media, you’d think Secretary of State Frank LaRose who chairs the Ohio Ballot Board was Lucifer. This week on The President’s Podcast, we tear those lazy elitists to shreds with critical perspective from a nationally known expert on redistricting. Frank Strigari joins the President’s Podcast with new information about exactly who is excluded from even being considered for the so-called “Citizens Not Politicians” panel.
In a laugh out loud moment, the Toledo Blade editorial board said, “Ballot Board Blows It,” and then several paragraphs later, actually admits that, well yes, “We have said that there is an element of gerrymandering in the Citizens Not Politicians Amendment…”
The hypocrisy of today’s media. They support gerrymandering. The elitist, entitled and always offended editorial boards, which operate under the freedom of the First Amendment, support an undemocratic attempt to gerrymander fixed outcomes to help their progressive leftist friends from Washington, D.C.
These arrogant super-geniuses who love to lecture everyone, while their business model burns with subscriptions they can’t sell for a single dollar, support a campaign that is discriminatory. Say it ain’t so. How could today’s woke media support that?
Well, the former editorial director of the Akron Beacon Journal, joined the chorus of elitist outrage and hypocrisy by saying this in his support of the progressive power grab.
“Neither have such states found the approach flawless. For instance, Michigan has struggled with getting Black representation right.”
Racist much? In a single sentence, the Akron Beacon Journal admits that not only is the process founded in fixed outcomes and percentages, but Michigan has had a hard time finding the right fixed percentage for Black voices. Holy Lord, that is racist. The ABJ thinks there is a, “right percentage for Black voices.” Guess that means other voices matter more, and should be weighted as such.
This process was so bad, that for the first time in 70 years, Detroit doesn’t have an African-American representing the city in Congress. And a Federal Court told Michigan’s “citizens’ panel” that its initial state legislative maps violated the Equal Protection Clause of the U.S. Constitution because the “citizens panel” drew the district boundaries predominantly on the basis of race.
The examples of today’s legacy media being an outlet for progressive leftist, undemocratic and discriminatory policies continues to be on full display. Exactly how discriminatory is this amendment? Well, they don’t want anyone with a record of public service. Active duty military, veterans and law enforcement, this means you! Additionally, the deep state dark money strategists led by former Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor, don't want their families to be involved either. Sorry Gold Star Mom who is interested in serving on the panel, you’re out! You see, they’re all excluded, except of course for the former judges running this Star Chamber from inside an unconstitutional vacuum. This certainly seems like a violation of the First Amendment rights of every Ohioan.
